Philosophy

Music is communication between human beings…

The experience of listening to excellent musical performances is an experience of connecting to the spirit of the musicians. We capture the energy and vibrations and respond emotionally. No matter if the event is live or recorded the emotional impact is the reason for listening. Listening to recordings is like reading old letters. You know what’s in them, but you keep coming back for reflection.

Our goal is to supply you with as little as possible…

Getting close to the musicians and to experience the event as it was recorded, is our highest goal. We believe that the electronic and electromechanical parts in your system should serve the recording for practical reasons, not interpret it. Most audio equipment adds a “wonderful” bloom to the music or subtracts the tiny details that would have made you feel almost in the room of the recording event. We feel that audio systems should focus on delivering “High Fidelity” and this is done by presenting the most exact reproduction of the recorded material.

A true reference amplifier is more than the result of engineering…

Fully balanced, based on advanced, but yet simple, discrete transistor circuitry our amplifiers demonstrate an exceptional ability to track the signal as it is supplied to the input terminals. However, it takes more than engineering techniques to develop a true reference amplifier. We develop our amplifiers through intense listening tests to ensure minimization of non-measurable types of distortion. Resonance-control is used throughout the design and even the smallest details have been optimized to maximize performance. Who build the Stradivarius? Was it an engineer or was it somebody who could listen?

The most revealing amplifier will demand the highest quality of the complete signal-path…

Letting the recorded signal pass through an amplifier that can virtually let you hear the hair grow also lets all kinds of subtle distortions through to your ears. It is therefore very important that the complete system is at the highest quality. Don’t expect even the most expensive equipment to perform flawlessly. At first glance, setting up an audio system may seem to be a simple thing to do, however the truth is that “plug and play” will compromise the performance in such a way that you will never get a proper result from the investment you have made. As an important part of our products, we supply detailed guidelines for setting up the system. Our accessories are necessary tools for releasing the potential of our amplifiers.
